I was visiting town (performing musician) for the day and had 4 hours to kill. Great facility! Was able to get in a long workout on their wide range of equipment. All clean, working, & diverse equipment, etc. Even nicer was the opportunity to use the shower, steam room, and hot tub. $25 day pass is very affordable and it was lovely having a spa day of sorts to reset after an 8 hour drive to Amarillo. I think I'll be back next year, and I'll surely take advantage of this place again. Additionally, I had written the club an email days prior for some information, and the GM, Karie, wrote me a lovely & kind welcome email with pics and additional info. Great spot! Great people!

This is hands-down my favorite gym in Amarillo. It’s always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the trainers actually know their stuff. You’ll find everything you need to train the way you like—without the crowds or chaos. The atmosphere is relaxed, and once you settle into your routine, you’ll start seeing familiar faces every time you go. The price is fair, and they keep improving what you get for it.

"I had a decent experience at Downtown Athletic Club, but it was consistently marred by a group of disruptive individuals on the basketball court. They would bully others, try to take over the entire court, and even start fights. Despite my efforts to enjoy my time there, the presence of these hoodlums made the experience less than great. Unfortunately, the staff was often nowhere to be found when these incidents occurred, which only added to the frustration. While the facilities were decent, the lack of adequate supervision and enforcement of rules made my time at Downtown Athletic Club less enjoyable than it could have been."
